The cozy cottage set in a lush rainforest offered a serene escape just minutes from stunning volcanic landscapes. Breakfasting in the outdoor dining area with freshly baked banana bread was a highlight. The hosts ensured every need was met.
A minor concern was the inadequate refrigerator space. it struggled to keep items at the right temperature.

My husband and I came for a couple of nights to enjoy the breathtaking views around Kilauea Iki. We had a lovely stay in the Queen Room, where the warm and inviting atmosphere made us feel right at home. The breakfasts delivered to our room were a delightful touch, letting us start our morning when we wanted. Being just a short drive from the volcano made catching the sunrise easy and breathtaking.

Breakfast options were accommodating and delicious.
I was frustrated with the room's cleanliness. the rugs were dirty, and the bedding looked unwashed. Also, the bathroom door wouldn't close properly, and the towel bar was broken. Despite these issues, our communication with the host fell flat because I only found out about a room change offer the next morning, which felt too late.

I stayed as a solo traveler for 5 nights in the Garden Suite, and it was just beautiful with a cozy cottage feel. The grounds are amazing, full of picturesque gardens. John, the owner, helped me extend my stay and even found me another room nearby later on. Great experience overall! 🌺

The breakfast options were a delightful surprise, especially the fresh local fruits that we enjoyed every morning.
The refrigerator in our cottage struggled to maintain a steady temperature, causing some items to freeze unexpectedly.

the room was small, and the rugs were dirty. Also, the fridge was ridiculous. it either froze everything or did not keep it cool at all, what an experience. i almost wrote a glowing review but couldn’t, especially after realizing there was no complimentary upgrade or gesture for the inconvenience i faced. so disappointing.

Perfect getaway for couples
We experienced so much comfort and coziness,, especially with the warm mattress pad. The mornings were beautiful with the whole breakfast setup waiting for us to just heat and enjoy at our leisure.
It wasn't exactly cheap,, but for what we got it was acceptable.
